CuttingEdge4.0 partners met on January 15 in Linz, Austria, for their 1st General Meeting.
At the meeting, hosted by Voestalpine, partners reviewed the advances in each of the work packages and planned and prepared upcoming milestones and tasks. In particular, the progress done in the process monitoring of a cold stamping line of PWO Czech Republic a.s., was shown. The process data collected will be used for the development of a machine learning expert system aimed to predict and avoid edge-cracking in safety related AHSS automotive parts. Further, first results of the development of experimental tools and digital twins for the cutting process, were discussed.
During the meeting, partners visited the Application Lab of Voestalpine.
The General Assembly was attended by all consortium partners with representatives from Eurecat, CuttingEdge4.0’s project coordinator, the Luleå University of Technology, Voestalpine, Faurecia, Centro Ricerche Fiat, Tata Steel Research & Development and PWO Czech Republic.
